Book Review: More than a Pretty Face by Remi Carrington

Remi Carrington is one of my favorite rom-com authors, so I was delighted to get the chance to read this one in advance. The couple were so cute, both genuinely sweet people who were all the sweeter around each other. I was pleasantly surprised by the time-frame this book covered, covering a good deal more time than the average rom-com does. Instead of well-timed coincidences, these two had to earn the opportunities that brought them back together, and the pining was REAL.

As you can guess from the pining comment, this was a sweet slow burn. After the initial very bad situation that the hero rescued the heroine from, there wasn't a great deal of drama, so it is a nice, calming read and a good reminder to always be super, duper careful with your drinks when out in public.

If you like sweet romance, cowboys, and cameos of other characters (I think there were people from three series in here), you will love this.

Note to more sensitive readers: not really any content warnings except for underlining the importance to guard your drink.

I received a ARC from the author and was not required to leave a positive review.
