Excerpt of Fish out of Water
"With all the power I possess as the true heir to Atlantis," Cerce continues, the water still swirling around her, "I seal this curse by the reliability of the tides and depths of the sea. It shall not pass away until fulfilled!"
She raises higher, and her speech turns more lilting.
"Strangers, are your fate, sent from the sea to land.
Monsters, you shall become, creatures friends will never understand.
Amphibians, you shall be, caught up in eternal metamorphosis.
Until lovers you can make of yourselves to return to Atlantis."
