Weekend Briefing: NaNo Wrap-Up and Illustration Reveal
Welcome back, agents, to another Weekend Briefing. Time for an announcement, a confession, and a reveal.
First, the announcement: my NaNoWriMo project today was Kristian Clark and the American Agenda, Book Two: Operation Paradise Lost. I had already drafted it once, and was already some 20,000 in- some of that word count is present as a sneak peak in Marina Ivanov, PI.
Now, the confession. I did not accomplish NaNo. My goal was the standard 50,000 words, which even with the previous 20,000, still wouldn't finish transcribing my novel, but it would be a good chunk.
I failed. By only 2,000 words. I was faithful until the very last week when everything hit me at once.
Someday, I may be at peace with that.
And now, the reveal. Once again, I have called upon the services of Maddy Moore to create a matching illustration for the sequel of Agents Adam and Eve.
