I read this book not as an assistant, but an author. This type of freelance work has long been something that intrigued me as more and more authors I know have been hiring assistants to help them with the type of work I currently do all by myself. I loved learning about the other side of things and the way skills from office jobs can fit so well into this more remote position, as well as how truly flexible this role can be depending on the author's needs and the assistant's skill set.
Note to more sensitive readers: there are a few instances of bad language.
I would recommend this book for current author assistants, those who are considering that as a career option, and for fellow authors.
