Bad Pick-Up Line, Part One
All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time all agents learned how to effectively romance targets- or how to deflect unwanted lines gracefully and cleverly.
Today's real-life pickup line (Mission Head has heard them all):
Hey, I like white girls.
First for the gentlemen, how to compliment better than this:
- Girls like to be told they're pretty for the most part. But when it comes to telling them exactly how you think they're pretty, there are some dangerous pitfalls to avoid.
- Avoid compliments about her body, shape, weight, etc. period. Women are very particular with these kinds of things, and your compliment can be taken the wrong way. Also, it tells them exactly where your eyes are, and they probably won't like that either.
- If you want to compliment a color, stick to the color of her eyes. Hair is a bit risky, but still in the safe radar. Skin color is just... strange.
- Don't let all the compliments be about physical appearance. There is much, much more to any given person than their looks.
Now, to the ladies, how to deflect an unwanted line (whichever skin color it may be) like this:
- Don't say which color skin you look in guys, if you have one or even if you don't. That can go a lot of bad ways.
- Do make him uncomfortable by turning it into any other compliment with a 'thank you, I worked very on it.' Or something along those lines. Then just walk away with that pleasantry.
- Do not compliment him back, even if sarcastically. It could either lead them on or crush their ego pitifully. Be merciful.
- Do have a backup plan. Maybe you can't just walk away because you're stuck in a long line or something, or he approaches you again. In that case, do your best to monopolize the conversation with random information. Too much information about your family line, way back to B.C., other things you like pertaining to the color he complimented with, like dishes and clothes. Then extract the moment you can.
And that's all for now, agents. Comment below about the worst pickup lines you've either given or received, or what you would like to read about when we finish with this series.
