Review of Jordan's Deliverance by Allen Steadham

I have been following the Jordan series from the beginning, because how could I say no to a girl character named Jordan (for a gender neutral name, there seems to be an imbalance between male and female Jordans that should be righted)? This space/portal saga has taken me from teenage Jordan to great-grandma Jordan as she grapples with everything life has thrown at her.

This installment was more of a tear-jerker, as finales often are, as Jordan faces the hard issues of both immortality- always an interesting subject even though it's not personally relevant- and the passing of time- which is one of the most relevant of all issues. It was nice to see how much her family has grown, but also sad to see and remember those lost on the way.

If you like speculative fiction with well-thought out world(s), deep thoughts, and a character to follow through three books, this series is for you.

I received a copy from the author, and was not required to write a favorable review.
