Review of The Waves by Amy Matayo
This was a fun little read about a grown woman who is trying to escape her overbearing family, and ends up on a tiny, deserted island with a friend invited by her cousin. The characters' banter was fun as they worked together to survive and, because humans are never content with just physical survival, work through the issues they brought with them to the island. There is some bad language, but the book is mostly clean.
